Now if you want to test any new Rom launched and you don’t want that your previous installed Rom get any effect, then you can use Boot Manager that will help you to flash up to three more different Rom in your SD card. SO you can try all the Rom at once without formatting one or other. Its obvious that the Rom which you will install on your SD card will not be as fast as your original Rom. But that’s enough for testing purposes. Also it may happen that some Rom will not work after installation on SD card but at least u can try different Rom on your device without fully flashing them on your device.

Precautions
The process is for advanced users only who know How to root android device, How to flash Rom on android device and How to make a Nand Backup. If you don’t know about these, first have a look at good guides, where you can learn all these things. Because if you do some mistake it can brick your phone. So just follow the steps carefully.
Step One
Flashing Second ROM
First thing you have to do is to make a nand backup of your current installed Rom from phone recovery or by using Rom Manager. If you would have backup and if anything goes wrong you can easily restore your device from the backup you have made. The backup will restore your phone as it is.
Now download BootManager from Google Play. After installation open it. But before opening it make sure to put the Rom you want to install in your SD Card in any folder or root of SD Card.
When the first time you will start BootManager, it will tell you to backup you original boot.img. This step is must and you should do this step to overcome any type of harm to your device. Because you can later easily restore that boot.img if it corrupts while installing the second Rom. After you made a backup, go to the tab named as “Install ROMs”. Choose the Rom you want to install in SD Card, from SD Card where you placed that. Check all the three boxes over there i.e. Wipe System, Wipe Data and Wipe Cache. Now wait for some time to complete the installation process. When installation will be completed you will get an option to boot in new Rom. Just click on Done, because we need to install Google Apps and other add-ons in the Rom.
Step Two
Installing Google Apps and Other ROM Add-Ons
Many Rom don’t come with the Google’s copyrighted apps, like Gmail, Google Play, Gtalk and others. Now when you boot into the new Rom, you need to be signed into the Google Play. Because BootManager will not work properly until you are signed into Google Play. If Google Play will not be there, how would you login into it. So that’s why you need to install these Google apps in your Rom. But if your Rom have all these applications pre-installed, then you can simply skip this step. Download Google apps and make a zip for that. You need to know about updater script to create an automatically install zip file. Place it in root of your SD Card. Now follow the same procedure which you have preciously followed. Go to BootManager. Click on Install ROMs tab. Choose Google apps zip but leave the three boxes unchecked this time. When it will finish installation. Now this time you can click on option to Boot in new Room.
If you want to install a theme or any other thing just zip it with appropriate updater script. Put it in SD Card and just follow the same method. But never check the three “wipe” boxes. Those three “wipe” boxes are only checked while installing a new Rom.
Step Three
Switch Between ROMs
To boot into other Rom that you have installed, just open BootManager and choose the option “Boot Installed ROM”. You will get the list of all the Roms that are installed on your device. When you click on any Rom, you device will reboot and you will enter in that Rom. You will find that BootManager will be already installed on each Rom you enter. You just need to sign in into your Google Play account.ere as well and switch back to your main ROM.
That’s it! You can flash up to five ROMs at a time on your device. To download the BootManager click on following links.
